Yep, Im Blogging Twice Tonight!

So as I sit and wait for Austin, I am so excited I can't handle it so I am filling my time! Two hymns have come across my days over the last week, one that I have known for years and one that is new to me. They both remind me how blessed I am to be a child of God, and how much I need to put all my faith in him despite my daily struggles (I stink at that!)!

This verse hit me hard today to realize how amazing God is that he could love me despite this:

"There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel's veins; and sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains!"

"The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; and there have I, as vile as he, washed all my sins away"

And the new hymn to me that really hit home: The Lord Will Provide

" Though troubles assail, and dangers affright; though friends should all fail, and foes all unite, yet one thing secures us, whatever betide: The Scripture assures us, "The Lord will Provide." The bird, whithout barn or storehouse, are fed; From them let us learn to trust for our bread; His saints what is fitting shall ne'er be denied, So long as its written, "The Lord will provide."

"We may like the ships by tempest be tossed on perilous deeps, but cannot be lost. Though Satan enrages the wind and the tied, the promise engages, "The Lord Will provide." His call we obey, like Abram of old, not knowing our way, but faith makes us bold; for though we are strangers, we have a good Guide, and trust in all dangers; "the Lord will provide."

"When Satan appears to stop up our path, and fill us with fears, we triumph by faith, he cannot take from us though oft he has tried, the heart cheering promise, 'the Lord will provide." He tells us we're weak, our hope is in vain; the good that we seek we ne'er shall obtain, but when such suggestions our spirits have plied, this answers all questions, "the Lord will provide."

" No strength of our own, or goodness we claim, yet since we have known the savior's great name, in this our strong tower, for safety we hide, The Lord is our power, "the Lord will provide." When life sinks apace, and death is in view, the word of His grace shall comfort us through; no fearing or doubting, with Christ on our side, We hope to die shouting "the Lord will provide."

Over the last weeks I have fallen asleep singing this last verse of The Lord Will Provide as I have battled intense fear of being alone with Will. I have stayed up most nights until 1, afraid to go to sleep with the fear that someone is going to break in and take us or hurt us. Each night, as I have gotten so tired but remained completely awake out of fear, I have fallen asleep singing and praying that if it is God's will, I will get through the night, and if not, that he will provide all that is needed!
